Star Wars by Decade

I think it was Suzen or Joe that mentioned it would be interesting to cast Star Wars in other decades...got me thinking about a 1940s casting sheet. I think this is who I would go with for the main players: Luke -- Robert Walker Leia -- Lauren Bacall Han -- Dana Andrews Threepio -- David Niven Obi-W...

Re: Star Wars Squadrons

I downloaded it and my computer didn't want to play nice with the game. So...someday I'll play it.

Re: Star Wars Squadrons

I'm pretty dang excited about this. I pre-ordered, which I'm not sure I've ever done for a game before.

Now I have to decide if I want to shell out for the VR headset and flight stick...

RoS music musings

The first time I saw RoS I was seriously jet lagged and missed a lot of stuff. One thing I do remember is being very confused when Luke started to lift up his X-wing and Yoda's theme started playing. It stuck with me as an out-of-place reusing of the "wrong" music. By the third time I saw ...

Likewise! I was really hoping this specifically would come up.

Crying While Star Warsing

Like Suzen TK, I am a crier in Star Wars movies. What are the Star Wars moments that bring you to tears almost without fail? I'm sure there are many for me, but the one that immediately comes to mind is the Yoda/Luke interchange in TLJ and the discussion of passing along wisdom gleaned through failu...

Bor Gullet hypothesis

It's been a while since I've watched the Bor Gullet scenes, so I don't remember the actual dialogue. Do they outright say it's a telepathic/mind reading situation? Could it be something more like whatever species Bor Gullet is produces sodium pentothal on their skin, totally wrapping somebody up in ...

Re: Galaxy's Edge Lightsabers

I reluctantly agreed to go to Savi's at Disneyland with one of my closest friends who really wanted to go. Was it a little bit cheeseball because it's aimed at children and I'm nearly 40? Yes. But another friend of ours commented later that we were walking around the park with a bit more swagger onc...
