Re: The Last Jedi Minute 2

The rough cut of the original opening for TLJ is on the extras on Disney + and probably quite easy to find on YouTube. I don’t think the Luke’s hand opening in TFA made it past pre-production but would’ve been cool to see.

The Last Jedi Minute 1

Hi everyone, hope you are all keeping safe and well 😀 So after watching the final episode of The Mandalorian I decided I was going to take a break from all things Star Wars until the next new content appears on Disney + which I guess will be The Book of Boba Fett in December. The main reason for thi...

Re: Dune

Awesome, just started Messiah too, only a few chapters in but enjoying it so far, it’s good to be back in that universe.

Re: Dune

I’m always a bit sceptical when it comes to someone else picking up an author’s vision based on notes they left behind so probably will never read the Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson ones but may well make a start on Messiah in the new year and see how I get on.

Re: Dune

I read it again in the summer and just loved it, the story is great but for me it’s the world building and the characters that really put it above a lot of other sci-fi. Still haven’t read any of the sequels, I kind of worry they can’t live up to the first book. Does anyone think they’re worth a read?

Alphabeatical (sort of)

My oldest son is 9 and he generally likes whatever music we listen to at home but I have really never managed to convince him that The Beatles are great and he would probably love them if he just gave them a chance. He does however think this clip of Macca is the greatest thing ever: https://youtu.b...

Re: Guests?

Love the new episode, great to have you guys back talking Star Wars. Last time round here in the uk we had a long wait for The Mandalorian to be available and to listen to Mindalorian episode so it’s awesome to be able to get the new season at the same time as our friends around the world.

Re: Rogue One Minute 134: Starting Over

Another fantastic season, thanks as always to Alex, Pete and all of their guest commentators. I kind of love the idea of them starting over with the original trilogy but I’m more excited to hear their thoughts on The Last Jedi considering just how much debate there was around it. I have no idea if P...

Re: Long live the fighters

The first time I watched Lynch’s movie I was probably about 12 and I think I was quite bored by it all, I suspect at the time I was expecting it just to be all laser guns and space battles and when it wasn’t I was just left a bit cold. I think I saw it again in my early 20’s but still hadn’t read th...
