Re: Formal Friday

It’s an impressive effort Ando, the company I work for got rid of casual Friday a few years back and made casual the standard all week long, so it’s casual Monday to Friday round here. Unfortunately most of my formal clothing belongs to a younger and slimmer version of me so is remaining in storage ...

Long live the fighters

I’m cautiously optimistic for this one, I’ve maybe seen the David Lynch movie twice in my 40 years and read the book once but I think in the right hands it could be spectacular, I liked what Denis Villeneuve did with Blade Runner 2049 and looks like he’s got an impressive cast so fingers crossed. ht...

Re: minute 96 with PodFTompkast

It’s taken me until minute 99 to realise I’m listening to Mr Peanutbutter, I knew that voice was familiar. What a fantastic week of episodes.

It’s also reminded me that I really should purchase one of the BoShek Horsman products from the merch store. :D

Re: Rogue One minute 95

It’s funny I’ve never been able to put my finger on where I knew him from but when you started talking about all the roles Paul Putney has played over the years something clicked in my mind and I figured out where I knew Andy de la Tour from. Seem he was a stand up in the 80’s a had small roles in a...

Rogue One minute 95

Great episode, I was surprised Pete’s research into Andy de la Tour didn’t bring up his appearance on The Young Ones back in the day. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=aiVuHEv2VZ4

At last!

So next week Disney plus launches here in the UK and we will finally get to see The Mandalorian which I am really hyped for as is my 8 year old son, I’m also glad I’ll get to catch up with The Mindalorian and hear Pete, Alex and guests take on it. With the current world crisis going on both myself, ...

Wishing you all well

Hi everyone, having never had a Facebook account but being a long tine listener of SWM I was very excited to find out a non Facebook listeners society was online, I’ve posted a few times but just haven’t had the time to do so regularly although I do intend to. Anyway the world feels pretty crazy rig...

Re: Just Saw Rise of Skywalker for the second time

I watched it at the midnight viewing with some friends and then the following evening with my sons aged 5 and 8, I loved it, I know it’s all been mixed in terms people’s reaction and the critics but I just enjoyed so much about to let any minor quibbles spoil things. It was also the Star Wars that m...

Re: Rogue One Minutes: 36 - 40

First full week back to work of the new year has been made much more enjoyable by listening to these episodes on my drive home. Don’t know if the mention of V: The Final Battle was as funny to everyone else as it was to me but I did laugh out loud.

Re: What was the last piece of Star Wars media you consumed?

Other than the latest episodes of SWM it would be my second cinema viewing of The Rise of Skywalker which was on release day here in England, despite having already been to the midnight viewing with some friends and then doing a full day at work before hand I enjoyed it immensely as I got to take my...
