Counting the days...

Post by Darth Barth »

In a few minutes, I'm going to fall asleep listening to Minute 91 of "The Force Awakens".

This is something I've been doing since August 5, 2018, when I listened to Minute 1 of "Star Wars". One episode, per night, in order. Something like 890 podcast episodes and counting.

At this rate, I will be listening to the still-unreleased Minute 1 of "The Last Jedi" at some point during the middle of this coming July, and an estimated 155 episodes devoted to TLJ" will take me through to about the middle of next December.

At which point I will magically travel back to the year 2013, and listen to "Minute 1: A Period of Civil War" again, wondering when the "Solo" minutes will start popping up in my feed.

Funny, I was just asking myself at what point in the future I would start over. I'm currently at AotC Minute 55 (listening for the first time, though). The plan was to keep catching up while simultaneously listening to TLJ Minute. Now I'm thinking, maybe focus on one of them?

If you are re-listening (or going through the show for the first time for that matter), I could certainly use your help over at the Star Wars Minute Wiki. Right now it's pretty much just me working on filling in pages for back episodes, and I'd love any help anybody can offer. I can think of no better way to Analyze, scrutinize and celebrate our favorite podcast :)

What kind of help would you be looking for? I have visited the Wiki, but not very much.

Thanks for asking! Anything would be appreciated. The first step is creating an account. Once you're confirmed, I'd love it if after listening to an ep, you went over to the wiki and checked if there was an article for that episode. If there is, feel free to add any details you want (especially quotes you found funny or memorable) and correct any typos I may have made.
If there isn't an article for it yet (and you're feeling ambitious), I'd love help creating it!
Feel free to add/change as much or as little as you want, and if you need any help you can message me here or check out the help page.
Thanks in advance!

That is something that I should probably start doing, mostly to preserve the things I remember.

A few weeks back, I managed to hear for the second time what always struck me as the show's all-time funniest (to me) exchange of dialogue, and I posted about it over on Facebook.

For the record, here's the dialogue, from "TFA 65: Navigating the Stairs":

Alex: Do you think Rey makes her own clothes, or does she buy them?

10-year-old girl: I don't know. Maybe she scavenged them?

Still makes me compulsively snicker.

That's funny, the damage doesn't look as bad from out here.
